The need for a comprehensive logistics system way back in 2000 has initiated the CEO and Founder, David Wong, to start the company as a software business. However, during the dot comm bust the need to connect e-commerce retailers to logistics was there and SNT Global has become a premier omnichannel fulfillment service provider in South East Asia that could handle both online and offline by delivering integrated logistic services incorporating highly customized eCommerce logistics distribution and supply chain execution such as warehousing and order-fulfillment, last mile delivery, cross border management, customer service, technology and multi channel integration to our clients.
Today, SnT Global Logistics, which was awarded pioneer status by MIDA, consists of 70% B2B and 30% B2C. In these categories, the customers are made up of retailers of information and communication technology (ICT), fast moving consumer goods (FMCG), apparel, consumer electronics, paper, bio-pharma and e-commerce.
With five warehouses, two distribution centres in Malaysia and Singapore and a head office located in Kuala Lumpur, SnT Global has a strategic market presence in Asia. We work closely with partners worldwide to optimize the efficiency of our customer’s supply chain.
With the 5 warehouses we have, we needed to ensure they are all operating at the optimum level which requires our people and the facilities to be at a certain quality. In order to do so we have implemented 7S. It is a methodology that results in a workplace that is clean, uncluttered, safe, and well organized to help reduce waste and optimize productivity. It’s designed to help build a quality work environment, both physically and mentally. This methodology has clearly impacted us in many positive ways.
